Leontine Krutti
My name is Léontine, I’m 20 years old and I am Franco-German. I spent a year at Seametrey in 2018/2019 working mainly in the nursery, but also teaching French to some primary classes.
I decided to work on the "Project Seametrey" because I intend to support the students and staff of this school who became very dear to my heart. My main role in this project is the management of social networks. I hope that through this project we will bring together a large number of volunteers to work altogether to help Seametrey survive the pandemic crisis and ensure that this school can continue to provide a valuable education to children from more or less disadvantaged backgrounds in Cambodia.
Thanks all the volunteers who decided to join this project and support Seametrey!
IT Support/Website consultant
Alena Dolderer
My name is Alena Dolderer, I am 25 years old and was born in Stuttgart (Germany). My first stay at Seametrey Children’s Village was from August to December 2016.I came back two years later in August 2018 and stayed for one month in total while helping out the currently present volunteers. The fact that me and many other volunteers came back to visit the school highlights: Seametrey is a wonderful place that touches every person’s heart.
I would like to thank every participant of „Project Seametrey“ for their meaningful commitment, and also thank You, the reader, for dedicating your time to learn about our cause. Together, we can do something big!
Team Leader
Julien Tan
I’m from France and I went to the school at the end of 2018 for a period of 2 months. My dad is Cambodian and left the country the day before Phnom Penh was taken by the Khmer Rouge. I feel a personal connection with these people and I want to help this beautiful country to rise.
I started this project early 2020, and we have for goal to pay professors’ salaries in order to guarantee education to all Khmer kids no matter their social background.

Hannah Koc
My name is Hannah Koch. I´m 20 years old and I´m from Germany. I volunteered at Seametrey School for one year in 2018/2019. The way people, both Khmers and foreigners, are being treated is a wonderful thing to see and also be part ofWhether it is the children who are currently not getting any kind of education, or the professors and workers who can´t get paid, the situation in Cambodia is very serious.
This is why it is so important to take action, NOW! I think this project is a really good way to support Seametrey School and give something back.
A big Thank You to all the volunteers who are part of the project!

Development
Mathias Degardin
My name is Mathias Degardin and I am originally from Lyon, France. I moved to the United-States in 2014 in South Carolina to combine tennis and high-level education. In 2018, I decided to pursue my Master of Business Administration (M.B.A) in Charlotte, North Carolina. I am currently working as an assistant tennis director at the Patterson Club in New York. I am one of the only volunteers in the project team that did not have the chance to volunteer at the school directly but I love the mission and vision behind Seametrey's school and I will do anything to help!
My main help comes from designing the website and finding ideas to fundraise money for the project.
